Producer four-hour local current affairs radio talk show five days a week that covers local, muncipal, provincial and federal stories. My daily duties include pitching stories, researching, booking guests, preparing audio and creating and maintaining the show's scripts. Throughout the show, I monitor the news as it happens to ensure all information is current and accurate. I also manage our textboard and coordinate with our television counterparts at CTV News Ottawa.

MEET DANI-ELLE
Telling stories through words and photographs is my specialty.
I'm an award-winning multimedia journalist with 15 years of experience who has worked in traditional print platforms (newspaper and magazine), online, radio and video production. My work can be seen and heard in media across Canada including with Rogers Media, Global News, Postmedia, Yahoo! Canada, FLARE, Chatelaine and more.
I have also provided communications and PR service on a contract and freelance basis for local Ottawa companies that have included video production services, press release creation, social media management and more.
When I'm not in the newsroom, I'm teaching journalism part-time at Algonquin College.
